I just applied and was approved. Then I began looking up reviews and regretted my decision. Do you recommend I cancel the card before I receive it?

Have an opensky credit card and have been building credit. Seen indigo in the mail and applied and got approved and was shocked since I am in the early stages of rebuilding.. I did not see the $75 annual fee for it.. Doh! No wonder they approved it. If I cancel before activation will it affect my credit? Edit: thinking more on it, since I am rebuilding maybe I'll eat the fee and enroll my credit card for autopay on one of my bills and just pay it each month and then perhaps if I get a better card option in a year then cancel it before the $99 2nd year annual fee kicks in..

Don't get this card. I just applied for it, I had not yet activated the card or even used it, and they sent me a $75 bill for the annual fee right off the top. They get you without even using it

Any card that makes you pay for the annual card up front to me is a scam. I’ll stick to my Capitol1.

Don’t fuck with the millennial generation age 25 to 35 because we have information at our fingertips and quick to get justice. I will Sue them if they don’t come correct soon! for my stress dealing with them and Sue them for the thousands of people who didn’t have the courage to0. And a lawyer would love to take this case on because there is hard-core evidence this Company has been making it hard on consumers by their business practices. Lying and Reporting To Consumers credit On accounts that they haven’t fully Set up. Inaccurate information to the Consumer. Ripping people off with fees for product never received! Causing hardship and stress on a consumer. not producing product and the product is the actual card. and following business Predator practices like no bill statements sent out. straight fraud

Scam they don’t mail out your actual card to activate it. This Mastercard company reposted to The credit bureau’s that I have a open account with them”What I actually got is no card in the mail, so I can’t activate it to make it actual open account being used” They are reporting the set up fee of 75 dollars, which makes me at 25% Of the card Usage, and it’s best to stay under 20% Usage to grow those point to improve my credit. so they already impacting my credit by reporting a high balance already at $75 for a fee on a 300 limit card. I been waiting almost two months for the card. I was approved November 16 2018, with my online approval saying in 10 days your card will be in my mail box! Nothing in my mailbox, no bill statement for that 75 dollar fee they report to The credit bureau’s. No actual card simply nothing! I Called every 12 days starting December 1st, Now we’re in January 2019 and still no card in my mailbox. Now it’s been 4 times they keep saying they are mailing it! all the information I got Is by calling the automated system and hearing the $75 balance due, and by checking my credit history and seeing this Mastercard company on my report. I don’t know what to do now, they better not add a late fee or report me past due for a credit card and bill statement they never sent me, but keep lying about sending it. How are they going to report to the credit bureau saying a active account open and they won’t even send the card or my bill statements. it’s just crazy, And what I learned in college, They are looking like the definition of predator lending predator tactics, and bad business practices in general! and I might talk to a consumer lawyer. because online there’s thousands and thousands of people they ripped off by not sending a card but asking for payments for UNactivated cards because they haven’t mailed card or bill statement but they got time to report to the bureaus.

These cards have to do away with these annual fees... They will lose customers to other companies with better offers.

I've been approved for this card. Once I pay off the annual fee; I'm linking my Netflix and hulu accounts. This will the only thing i will be using this card for.

It's not a horrible card. I've read A LOT of horrible reviews from card holders on different sites but most are because the reviewers didn't read the terms. I'm rebuilding after a divorce and a chapter 7, my credit was totally shot. I started with secured cards from Primor, One United Bank, and Charter, once I was able to get secured cards like Discover, US Bank, Capital One and Citi i closed the ones that had no possibility of converting to unsecured. The point is, this card is unsecured, the credit limit will be $300 (I haven't read ANYWHERE of a higher limit or an increase), use it for the first year and close it before the $99 annual fee kicks in. Hopefully, with smart use, it will raise your score enough to get better cards. It's nothing more than a step in a process.

Indigo, as of 7/21/18 they indiscriminately changed the customer service number. You can only reach them through their parent company Genesis it’s 1866 502. 6439

I have one of these unsecured indigo cards on the way, the limit will be $300 with a $75 first year fee and a $99 fee every year thereafter. Smdh... Obviously I have a bad credit score but l have a chance l suppose to redeem myself in time. "SUBSCRIBED"

They help people get started. years ago and I don't mean 2000 I mean in the late 80's they didn't have credit cards like this. I wish they did but cards like this help people get started. you don't become Guy Lafleur by sitting around you need to put skates you need to shoot the puck around and join good hockey teams. the same with a credit card you need to start somewhere.

I opted for the Discover secured card. I'm very happy with the card and the service specially since they have no annual fee and have a cashback program as well.
